[FIRST LOOK] at Disneyland Resort's New Grand Finale in the ‘Main Street Electrical Parade’

The wait is finally over! Nighttime spectaculars are back at the Disneyland Resort starting April 22. Ahead of its return, members of the press had a first look at the all-new grand finale of the "Main Street Electrical Parade."

With this exciting entertainment returning, it's only natural that there are some tasty eats and sips to join them. So we enjoyed delicious treats and eye-catching novelties. In addition, we were immersed in Disney Magic as 'Disneyland Forever' Fireworks Spectacular lit up the night sky to cap off the magical night.

This first look invitation was in honor of Disneyland's milestone 50th anniversary, the "Main Street Electrical Parade." Over the past five decades, the parade brought families together to delight in its many whimsical stories and featured characters. Now, it will return with an all-new, enchanted grand finale that celebrates the theme of togetherness and continues the enchantment for a new generation of dreamers because of the creative concept of the new finale sequence.

So much inspiration has poured into the parade, such as the original design of classic "Main Street Electrical Parade" floats and Disney Legend Mary Blair's iconic art style on "it's a small world," the new grand finale brings to life more than a dozen Disney Animation and Pixar stories.

During the parade, these classic stories are brought to life with the help of thousands of sparkling lights and electro-synth-magnetic musical sounds, with unique representations of beloved characters as animated dolls.

"Main Street Electrical Parade" and "Disneyland Forever" will be available for a limited time at Disneyland park. When the "Disneyland Forever" fireworks spectacular comes back on April 22, it will run on weekends only (Friday through Sunday). "Mickey's Mix Magic" will present its high-energy, projections-

only show during the week (Monday through Thursday) until late spring. At that time, "Disneyland Forever" fireworks will run nightly in the summer. "World of Color" and "Fantasmic!" will return to their regular schedule upon reopening.

With the return of fan-favorite offerings and new experiences on the way, the Disneyland Resort is buzzing with energy and excitement. It's a great time to plan a visit, so be sure to head to the happiest place on earth (Disneyland) and enjoy the "Main Street Electrical Parade" and the anticipated return of the "Disneyland Forever" fireworks spectacular. But, the excitement does not end there! "World of Color" will return to Disney California Adventure park, and "Fantasmic!" is preparing for its return to Disneyland park on May 28, 2022.
